I was reading fanfiction heavily from about 2007 to 2009, when I was still high school. That was in the days before Archive of Our Own, everyone using DeviantArt or livejournal - probably still are so that should give you some indication of how old I am. I read from the Naruto archives almost exclusively - in love with the greats who pioneered crack!pairings like SasuHina, KibaHina and all of the other Hinata pairings, including smatterings of NejiTen, InoChou, InoSai, ShikaTema. Like most people of the female persuasion I identified strongly with Hinata's meekness and loved that she eventually won over the series' lead.

I tried writing fanfiction back in 2007 and I'm still trying now in 2019. Maybe because I'm older and sillier I suspect most people have moved off of FFN and have real world responsibilities that trump services to the Fanfiction community.

As a writer, I love feedback and hope you'll enjoy the stories I share. I can only hope to mimic the styles of real world authors like Tim Winton (Cloudstreet), George R.R. Martin (A Song of Ice and Fire), John Steinbeck (Of Mice and Men), Wilkie Collins (The Woman in White) and anyone included in a Ghost Stories anthology from ye olde times (think stories published in the late 1800s and the early 1900s).

My not-so-secret guilty pleasures are the works of Juliet Marillier (Sevenwaters), Tamora Pierce (Alanna: The First Adventure), Isobel Bird (Circle of Three), Richelle Mead (Vampire Academy), Kate Forsyth (Witches of Eileannan) and Jean M. Auel (The Clan of the Cave Bear). I grew up reading these novels and periodically revisit to recapture my youth.

When Sakura goes missing Ino embarks on a journey to find her, travelling through territory of ninjas of questionable loyalty. Along the way Ino joins forces with Sai, a former ANBU member for Konoha, who may or may not be her enemy. With Sai's help, Ino learns that her childhood friend was not all she appeared to be. Still, in Sound Territory, remnants of Orochimaru's followers remain and want Konoha turned to ash. The mad Sasuke Uchiha is still alive and at large, attempting to end the Uchiha curse. Confronted with the choice of her friend or her country Ino is not sure which to choose.
