Hi, my name is Crystal. I'm a girl that just got out of high school. And I live a normal-yet-weird life (and I don't mean the kind of life a superhero may live in). The ‘weird’ in my life has a lot of the people that I have met, or some things that I did or have done with others. Or it could also be a part of who I am in a way, ya know. The ‘normal’ is that weird is both my definition and my version of normal. "Normal is weird, and weird is normal," is what I tend to say about life because, well, it fits it to a T.

I'm interested in a lot of stuff. I love animals (all but spiders), reading, creating art (drawing, painting, ext), and nature. The kinds of books I like to read are action, adventure, heartfelt, sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes, or just anything that catches my interests. But what I also like to do is play sports (like paintball and swimming), play wizard101 (when I can), read, listening to music (old, new, rock, country, any kind really), and surf the web to do something that I like (youtube, anime, manga, fanfic, anything at all).

But if anything, I love things that are unique. There is nothing wrong with being one of a kind. Like me for example, I try to express myself by being who I am and not what others want me to be every day. But if people don't like those parts of me, the parts that make me who I am. Then I see them as people that I rather don't want to be around. I always try to tell others that, but I'm not sure if they are entirely sure if they ever do listen to me about it. Yet they still seem to have it in their minds no matter what I do. They really do love being themselves. It really makes me happy, you know.

Also, no matter what, I always try to let my imagination keep running wild. Because if I don't, I'll just find some parts of my life dull. My creativity is a part of who I am, and I'm proud of it. Mainly since it also basically describes my entire personality, too. That and being a total animal lover!

I love animals, any kind. All but spiders, terrified of them and have a phobia to prove it. But I love animals so much that I don't have a specific favorite. Though, I would say that I like K9s, butterflies, giraffes, and dolphins the most. Because I like those the longest in specific kind of sense as I grew up.

(P.S.: I know, I'm scared of spiders and yet my favorite superhero is Spider-Man. It's kinda ironic, I know, I've been told that before.)

(P.S.S.: I don't have specific favorites in a lot of things. It's not uncommon for me.)

Heads up, you may find a Hetalia lemon or two that she had written.

One of the fanfics that I love is a Hetalia one called “The Age of Canada” by: AnaJo Skylark. The reason why I like it is because it reminds me of some troubles that had accord with 4 members of my family (one of which, is still alive).

You see, I had about three relatives that had cancer (prostate, stomach, and another one that I can’t remember) and a passing of a grandparent that had dementia.

Though 3 of the 4 had plays an important role not just in my life and my family's, but in the lives of other people out there in the world. Rather many people may know it or not.

Two of them were my grandparents who had done many things within both the community and the government. Both also stood up for civil, gay, women’s rights. Along with passing those and many other morals on through their children and grandchildren. But really, they have done so much for this country and the lives in this world that I’m proud to have grandparents like them.

especially those who had served in the Army Air Forces in India during that time*

The 3rd one was my uncle who I was really close to. He was a flute historian, but he was a great person none the less. If you had ever seen the movie The BFG, one of the main characters from that movie (or even the title) fits him to a ‘T’. The reason why I say that is because he is a big guy that tends to bend down just to go through some door frames that can be one of the most kindest people that you can have ever met.

This story reminds me of the love and heartaches that came with them. Not to mention that they will want me to be happy, no matter how much I miss them. That they’re in a better place and their still looking out for me rather I can see or not. That's why I like it so much.

It reminds me that I’m not only in this.
