I am Cressida Harmony (and, yes, I am aware that my name is an example of the kind of insanity that is caused by pregnancy).

I am a writer of Harry Potter fan fiction and have been since...August...2006...maybe. I'm not sure the exact date. I stumbled upon Muggle Net Fan Fiction by mistake when I was looking for Harry Potter anything and started reading. There were few stories that I really fell in love with but others that I could only raise my eyebrows at. It was the eyebrow raising ones that made me want to write my own. I was sure that I could write better and I still stick by that.

My favorite characters are Sirius Black and Ginny Weasley/Potter. I LOVE Marauder fics. When I read Hogwarts Era fics I usually only like canon ships but there are a few amazing stories that I have to let slide. Aside from ships, I am a huge fan of AU and love fics where Sirius lives and/ or has a daughter. If I went to Hogwarts I would be in Hufflepuff because I don't care enough about school work to be in Ravenclaw, am not brave enough for Gryffindor, and am not evil enough to be in Slytherin. I like the idea of being in Hufflepuff because I don't have to be so single minded about myself as a person. It would suck to be only noble and brave, or only smart and nerdy, or only stuck up and cunning. I'm a little of everything. The only problem would be that I lack some (or a lot) of the Hufflepuff patience.

I live in South America and speak Spanish but have yet to read any fan fiction in the language. Es un boludez, ya se, pero pienso que mi vida es parte en castellano y parte en ingles y Harry Potter es en ingles. Por eso, pensando de Harry Potter en castellano es rarisismo para mi y no puedo hacerlo. Huh...when I can't put in accents it doesn't look as good...

My current obsession is a story called Destiny's Defiance that I have been writing for a year and am now going over with a beta.

I also have accounts on MNFF and HPFF under I Am Peeves and Cressy (respectively).
