I am writing one main story right now, but have a few one shots on the side. The Bottom Line is on hiatus for now. I am not giving up on it, please don't either. I try to update as much as I can but I have a real life and that gets in the way.

Brisket

4-5 lb Brisket (first cut)

1 large onion, sliced ( or 2 smaller ones)

1-2 packets of Lipton onion soup mix (I use almost 2 if I am making more

then 5lbs of meat)*

2 jars of Chili sauce

Dash of Worchester Sauce

Pepper

Garlic Powder

Put half the onions on the bottom of the pan, brisket, fat side up, rest of onions on top and easy peppering and garlic powder on all of it

Mix soup mix, worchester sauce and chili sauce all together Pour on top

I add a little water to the pan. Cover w/ aluminum and bake on 325 for 4-5 hrs. Make sure to check it. When a fork goes into it easily it is done.

Remove from oven, cool and slice. (remove fat on top and throw away)

I put sliced brisket back in pan, put onions on top w/ sauce and refrigerate for about 3 days so it can marinate in its juices.

When ready, reheat at 325-350 for 1-1 and half hours til heated through. Enjoy!
* remember the onion soup mix is salty so you don't want to over do it
