Temptation is a power

An illusion witch one plays

Taunting, sweet yet sour

Melting away the days

When darkness watches,

Water ripples stay

To show the many notches

Of a secret kept away.

Influence is daunting

As the current moves and sway’s

After midnights haunting

To meet at crossing ways.
