They meet for the first time while working opposite sides of a case, and Matt doesn't leave much of an impression; he seems like a nice guy, but no one Foggy will worry about a week from now. Dean goes through life with his head down. He marries his childhood best friend, becomes a paramedic, and promises his doctor he'll cut back on the fast food. He doesn't think about the brother who went missing from Stanford, who had sadness in his eyes and a knife under his pillow. But that changes when his wife Anna's eyes go empty and she gasps, "John Winchester has broken." WIP
