![]() Author has written 5 stories for Pokémon, Harry Potter, and Dragon Ball Z. Welcome to my profile! I don't want to bore you with inconsequential stuff about me that, really, none of you will care particularly much about, and probably just scroll onwards from with a quick skim. I've been at this Fanfiction business for little over a year and a half by now, and gained some experience. But there is still a long way to go, and I strive to do better every time I put something new up. Mostly, though, I write because I think it's fun. I've two stories in-progress at the moment (and a sequel planned for one of them). I probably won't start anything else, seeing as it would be too much and I would leave too much undone. Below you can see some of my thoughts for the stories. The Last Guardian of Aura AU – Ash Ketchum learned from an early age that the world was a place devoid of hope. Armed with an unquenchable thirst for vengeance and with the power of Aura at his fingertips, Ash fights a mad force of nature intent on destruction, whilst trying to cling onto any shred of sanity within himself. But Dark forces lurk unseen in the shadows of the world, and the Crimson King rises. My first Fanfiction. It's not by any means perfect, and some of the earlier chapter - probably the later ones, too - could benefit from a touch-up. Maybe I'll go back and do that one day. But I love that story, love the Ash in it and all his faults. Love Oak and Serena. I even love May a little. The story started with me wanting to explore the idea of Aura, which I had seen from the movies and Anime. I later learned that that was a terrible cliche that had been done to death, but I like to think I've done it a little different than most. I love the story no matter what, and I love where it is going - if I don't fuck it up before the finish line, that is. There is always the possibility of that. The Unspeakable Time's running short for Harry Potter. Navigating through unseen enemies and shrouded intentions, he must stay above his frazzled sanity and oppose Voldemort's clandestine machinations. But worn with the blazing regrets of his past - of memories burning eternally - Harry desperately seeks control of himself. Peace was outlawed long ago. My second attempt in the Harry Potter Universe. My first attempt was a rather arrogant attempt without much thought, but with a great deal of ambition. Thoughtless and ambitious. Not two things that go well together if you want to write something that's just a little close to worth reading. Well. I loved the Harry Potter books growing up. Sometimes I'd read them long into the night, even though I had to be up for school in the morning. I loved them; they were meant, I think, for kids my age. Today, when I read them, I feel as though some of the potential were lost, never got the chance to come to live. Maybe it's just my own taste that has changed over the years. I haven't read that many Harry Potter fan fiction as of yet, but there sure is a lot of them, which might suggest that I am not the only one having that feeling. The Unspeakable is an attempt at exploring the relationship between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. Both in the light as opposite forces of good and evil, but also as equal forces of fear. I feel that Voldemort's character has so much depth (or at least the possibility of depth), that Rowling left perhaps a tad unexplored in the books. I hope I can expand upon him, and still keep him decidedly Voldemort. The Harry Potter in this piece of fiction, however, has little to do with the Harry of the books. I love the book-Harry, and I do believe you can make excellent stories with him, just look at book three to see the pinnacle (my opinion) of the series. You can take him amazingly dark and dangerous places, push him to his limits and make him overcome them. I want to do that in my story as well, which is why this isn't a perfect-Harry kind of story. But for the story I wanted to tell, I needed someone a little closer to the Dark Lord in terms of skill and power, to even the odds, if you will. This is not an attempt on the so-called Super!Harry genre, of which I have little interest, although it may look like it initially (and in the end, it may end up as it, and then I do hope that it will at least be enjoyable to read, if nothing else). Many of the traits you see, albeit briefly, in the Harry of the book has been used as an inspiration for his darker, grittier characterization here. If the story goes the way it has been planned - and it shall - then his past, and it is slightly AU, and misgivings will be shown and explained along the way. I believe that showing it along the way, gradually, is preferable to big chunks of exposition. It tends to flow better, and keep one more engaged with the story and the characters. I hope that I will grow as fond of this story as I have The Last Guardian of Aura, and I hope you readers will come to enjoy my efforts. Without you, the fun wouldn't be half as great. The Unspeakable is Year 5 Divergence (AU): Which means that book 1-5 happens pretty much the same in this universe as it did in the books. The changes will be shown along the way, through dreams, flashbacks, Harry's thoughts, and dialogue between Harry and the various characters he will meet. Yeah, that's all I can think of at the moment. If you have any question, you are more than welcome to either review the story with the question or PM me if it is a more general one. Good day and happy reading. |
