I'm a native Michigander, my philosophy is that you get what you believe. For example, from a young age I always said that I was going to be a nurse. In 1981, this became a reality. Because, I believe that what you set your mind to, you can achieve, I have accomplished many things including: college degrees, building a house, woodworking projects, working on cars, being a wife, mother, grandmother, an author, a nursing home administrator and an entrepreneur. I've engaged in public speaking and served on several boards as well as building a number of businesses on and off-line. Take action and you will win, and I would love to help you do it!

I love living, and I live to learn. Live in the moment and enjoy each and every moment. Once spent you can't get those moments back. In our fast paced world, we tend to spend our time wishing for other things or experiences and forget to appreciate the experiences that we are currently having. The eulogy is from the heart and a realization of how I have spent my time. I hope that I can help you see what I could not see fully in the past. Truly, you attract what you send out.

In order to get to the end of the road you have to start by taking a step. Then another and another until you have reached the goal. You cannot place your future in someone else's hands; your outcome is totally up to you, but nowhere does it say you have to do it alone. I will show you the path I took through the minefield and you will see where it is safe to step.

I have devoted my website to providing you with need to know information. Each week I have a reading assignment for the entrepreneur to help you develop yourself and business mindset. No need to reinvent the wheel; we can learn from those who have gone before us. I also recommend that not all time be spent nose to the grind stone so I have a weekly “just for fun” reading segment –sorry no romance novels (it is just not my thing). I think Ralph Waldo Emerson captured the need for fiction the best when he said, “Fiction reveals truths that reality obscures.”
I have also written several books on taking a hobby and making it into a business. My Hobby to Business Series is a free download that anyone may have for just visiting my website. I will continue to add to the series as I write more books—so come back and check out the updates. I would also enjoy reader input or suggestions so please feel free to contact me and let me know if there are topics you would like me to write on.
The website contains many articles that discuss the ins and outs of a career change. I have interviewed hundreds of people over the years, and I offer a free cover letter and resume review. As a nurse, I know how easy it is to fall into bad eating habits or worse yet not eating habits. I have a section devoted to health and wellness information and tips. No hard core Sargent drills—I will leave that to those who have the passion for it. I plan to pass along health related tips and information that can help you make informed decisions. I hope that you will find them helpful and even better if it is something you can implement in your life.
Along with managing health and wellness comes preparing for emergencies. After working 35 years in the medical field, I have found out that the last thing we do is prepare for emergencies. So I have devoted a section of my site to addressing emergency preparedness. When all is said and done there will be a truly valuable reference for anyone trying to protect their family. I truly hope that you will never have to implement any of the strategies or tips offered past getting prepared.
Finally, my site offers education and information on becoming your own boss by starting your own business. The entrepreneur in you is encouraged to take those steps to change your life. I have information coupled with business ideas and programs to help you reach that goal of creating a high residual income.
