Here's a poem i wrote that was inspired by all the wonderfally writen romance stories out there. Here we go. I hope you like it.

Singing In The Rain… Well Sort Of

He smiled at me as we waltzed through the rain.

I smiled back as I whispered his name.

As we continued to spin my ears began to ring.

I let out a moan for he had begun to sing.

His voice cracked as the tune was droned.

The notes were off key there wasn’t even a tone!

I laughed and began to sing along.

“You’re a terrible singer.” I teased “But I love this song.”

His eyebrows rose at my clumsy fumbling steps.

“You can’t dance dear.” He teased back. “Your imperfection is what I love best.”

His eyes glowed as rain pelted his head

“I know I can’t sing. I could make a rock go deaf.”

Thunder boomed overhead as if in agreement with him

“Are you cold?” He asked concerned. “Your jacket’s awful thin.”

We stopped dancing and stood listening to the rain

I grinned at him. “Please don’t start singing again.”

He sighed in mock sorrow as we walked down the street

We stopped at a bench and sat dangling our feet.

He snuggled close keeping me warm

Our voices fell silent as we listened to the storm.

My watch chimed ten. The storm began to grow. We were soon soaking wet

He became stiff suddenly “I’m late! I need to go home! My mother will be upset”

But he didn’t move. His tense muscles eased.

Sighing he took my hand and squeezed.

Time seemed to slow as my thoughts began to wander

He looked so right I thought, as I watched him sit and ponder.

I hummed then an unknown song

He tapped his foot and began to hum along

We ended the song with a gentle kiss

I sighed in rapture. Love at this moment is such lovely bliss.

I forgot to add bestest buddies and sense i can't spell thier pen names I'll do my best to anyway. Sory guys if it's wrong.
