To my readers,

As some of you might know, Unknowable Room, the new Harry Potter fanfiction archive that so many of us at The Great Break have been waiting for since April, is finally up and running. While this brings so much happiness on my part, it also makes me feel sad because I've decided to make some very important decisions.

I'm making the switch. I'm becoming a Unknowable Room fanfiction writer, and will no longer consider myself a fanfiction.net writer. Readers, my friends, I want to make a fresh start at Unknowable Room. That means none of my current fanfiction work will be making the switch with me. I want my writing to have depth, meaning, and feeling, and I no longer feel like I can do that with any of my current work. Here is the current status of my four stories:

Seven Years of Marauding: Abandoned. There so much of it that I'm unhappy with, and I don't think I realized what I was getting myself into when I started writing it. It was my first fanfiction, and I'm progressed much farther in my writing because of working on it, but the time has come for me to say goodbye. It will stay here at fanfiction.net; I don't have the dedication to stick with such a long-spanned story I'm only 50-60 percent happy with.

Summer with the Arrogant Prat: Completed. I'm so glad so many of you loved this story; it's become my personal favorite, and you have no idea how happy I am to have finished it.

Sequel Status as of 12/13/07: I don't know if it'll ever happen, folks. It's been two years since I completed Summer with the Arrogant Prat, and I've fallen out of the fanfiction world since. But never say never, my loves.

Crazy Chats with the Harry Potter Characters: Due to the lack of plot, this fic can't truly be completed. It will live on here on fanfiction.net, and I may infrequently update it, simply for an outlet for the craziness built up inside me.

Clawing My Way to the Top: This is the only fic that may make the crossover to Unknowable Room, but I'm still unsure. If it stays here, it may or may not be completed. I just don't know.

I want to thank you all immensely for your support over the little more than a year I've been a writer here. Without all of you, I probably would have given up on some of my fics much earlier, and I would never have made as much progress without all of you urging me on. I hope to see some of you over at Unknowable Room, and I promise to post a link to me there as 'My Homepage' the second I get an account. I already have almost two one-shots completed (one's eighty percent finished), which will be the first things posted there.
