![]() Author has written 5 stories for Dynasty Warriors, Harry Potter, and Death Note. Hi there to whoever is viewing my profile:) So I go by xsakura13 here (you should probably know already because it's at the top of the screen lolz) because it sounds niceish. I love Dynasty Warriors and am obsessed with it. The first time I started playing I couldn't stop! I played every chance I got. My favorite kingdom is Wu. I like Shu too! No offense to Wei, but I just don't like them as much. Since I'm, obsessed with Dynasty Warriors, my knowledge of the three kingdoms is VAST! So I should be able to answer most of the questions you have on the three kingdoms (if you have any questions for me). If you want me to hurry up and update, please review or I might lose motivation. Reviews make me happy and they're kind of like encouragements. Favorite and people in three kingdoms: Sun Shang Xiang: Her tomboy personality impresses me. In the novel, she has armed female servants! Women usually don't fight back then. Zhao Yun: He is brave and honorable. Going through the risks at Chang Ban just to save Liu Bei's son (who I do not like) is incredible. It shows how loyal he is. Zhuge Liang: He is patient and intelligent. By shortening his life span to help Shu in their campaigns is very impressive. Diao Chan: By risking her life in the plot to get Lu Bu to kill Dong Zhuo proves she is courageous. It also shows she is very smart because she successfully got the plan to work. Harry Potter Corner: I love the books. That's pretty much all I can say. They're amazing and going on the adventures with Harry, Ron, and Hermione was absolutely stunning. After I finished the last book, it was very sad. I hate it when the good books end. So, I went on Fanfiction and started reading Harry Potter fanfics. I saw James's and Lily's love life and witnessed the Marauders's friendship. That's when I started becoming obsessed with stories about the Marauders. After James and Lily, I went on to read about Sirius Black. I read about Sirius Black running away to James's house, Sirius Black turning into a dog, Sirius Black pulling pranks. You could pretty much guess that Sirius Black became one of my favorite characters. Then came Remus Lupin. Remus Lupin gets bitten by a werewolf and fears that his friends would abandon him once they found out. After multiple stories, the Marauders became my favorite characters. The only sad part is Peter Pettigrew. I often wonder how he got into Gryffindor. He is neither loyal nor courageous. Sometimes, I think it should be Severus Snape that should be in Gryffindor, and Peter Pettigrew who should be in Slytherin. Their roles are complete opposites. Harry Potter Pairings that I either like or am okay with: James/Lily Sirius/Marlene Sirius/OC Remus/OC Oliver Wood/OC Draco/Hermione The Infernal Devices Street: It's one of the best books with a descriptive style of writing and well planned plot. There are some major twists, and this series conveys emotion very well. I remember reading this really sad part and crying. Yup. It's that good. There's a fantasy world with Shadowhunters (half angel, half humans) who fight demons and protect humans. They use seraph blades and steles (something Shadowhunters use to draw runes, tattoos that give them strength, speed, etc). There's also romance in there with the main characters in a love triangle. But, it's was depressing when the main male character died of old age. It was like a goodbye forever. PREPARE FOR AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER! Pairings that I like: Will/Tessa Will/OC Jem/OC Jem/Tessa Gideon/Sophie Gabriel/Cecily My terms for stories: Alive and healthy: The story is continuously updated. In-the-hospital: The writer is taking a break and the story will not be updated for a while. Surgery: The story's plot is changed. Dead: The story is discontinued. Zombie: The story is said to be discontinued, but the writer changes their mind and updates. Some of My Favorite Books: Harry Potter Percy Jackson and the Olympians Hunger Games Vampire Academy Gallagher Girls The Immortals The Mortal Instruments The Infernal Devices My Obsessions: Reading Tea: Green tea, Milk Tea, Tapioca Tea, you name it. Coffee: Something that's not too bitter and not too sweet. It's great for studying. Custard Pudding Movies: Anything with a great plot or is ridiculously funny Anime: Again, anything with a good story line or is super funny Writing: I'm on Fanfiction, aren't I? Video Games: I prefer combat but nothing too violent. Just Some Thoughts: It'd be nice if people just stop fighting. I know it's probably impossible. There are wars everywhere ever since ancient times. But, people should ask themselves, "What are we fighting for?" Are we fighting for honor or our people? There really is no honor in fighting. After all, in fighting someone is bound to be hurt-whether it's physically or mentally. Verbal abuse can tear someone down, and lower their self-esteem. If we're fighting for our people, why must we risk our own people for war? There have already been thousands killed in war. Or is war basically fighting for greed? If we're fighting for land, has anyone ever realized that land really doesn't belong to anyone? Land has be there since forever. It shouldn't belong to anyone. And if it's for revenge or the sense of justice, it's really not worth it. For one to take revenge and call it fair by hurting someone, it's not morally right. There are ways of justice without hurting people. I believe Hammurabi's Code of Law isn't the best method. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." It's going to hurt. Revenge will carry on forever. For example, one day some one poisons another's dear relative. A relative of that relative will get revenge on the original poisoner, and the relative of the poisoner will get revenge on the first revenger. This grudge will carry on and on. I know it's hard to not hate someone who has harmed someone dear to you, but fighting is no solution. I hope that one day fighting will cease, and everyone can make peace with each other regardless of previous grudges. 12/22/13 "If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second."-- Johnny Depp When I first saw this quote, my thoughts were something like this: That is so true. If you truly liked the first person, all your attention would be on them and not on someone else. If you liked another person, it could be because the first person is neglecting you. Therefore, you would fall for the second. The first person should capture all your attention and love. So remember not to neglect the person you love. Treasure them and be happy with them! 2/22/14 Crushes can be so annoying sometimes. I'm going to speak in a girl's perspective right now. You don't know if the guy likes you or not. If there was some way that two people can get together without having the embarrassing situation that the guy doesn't like the girl, that'd be great. From my experience, crushes are usually not like books where the guy does fall for the girl, or the girl finds someone else. Instead, the girl keeps thinking about the guy even if she wants to get over him (again, my personal experience so this may not be true for all people). Personally, if I had a crush on a guy who doesn't like me, I'd want him to tell me so I can get over him. Wouldn't it be such a waste of time to keep thinking about a guy who doesn't like you when you can find someone else? And there are some people who know you have a crush on them and don't do anything about it, or they are just oblivious to your crush. Then, they keep chatting with you and making you laugh, but you want to get over them because you know they like someone else, or you know they're not interested. Again, this is my opinion, and please don't think I'm trying to offend anyone. I'm simply telling my point of view based on my experiences. 6/24/14 Two words. Book boyfriends (girl perspective). Recently, I've just finished the Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare, and I had so many fan girling moments. If you haven't read it, I strongly urge you to. I would say it's around the same level of great writing and plot as Divergent and Percy Jackson. Basically, the book is about Shadowhunters--half angel and half humans--who fight demons. The Infernal Devices is the prequel to the Mortal Instruments--a lot of you guys might know TMI since there was also a movie that came out, The City of Bones. They fight with seraph blades (angelic blades, I believe) and have steles to draw runes (temporary tattoos that give them strength, speed, etc). It's a really good fantasy world with an exciting storyline. There's one character, in particular, that I was fan girling over--William Herondale. He's mostly known as Will, a blue eyed, black haired, Welsh Shadowhunter who always has some witty, sarcastic remark on hand. For example: “They’re not hideous,” said Tessa. “Jessamine recoiled from the paper as if it were a snake. "A lady does not read the newspaper. The society pages, perhaps, or the theater news. Not this filth." But, Will could also say something deep and meaningful. For example: “Life is a book and there are a thousand pages I have not yet read.” “It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone. They could be honest with me, and I with them.” “They say time heals all wounds, but that presumes the source of the grief is finite” “If no one cares for you at all, do you even really exist?” Please note that these quotes were written by Cassandra Clare and "said" by Will. Not only is Will a good looking Shadowhunter, he's a lover of books too. I believe he's read Oliver Twist, A Tale of Two Cities, Lady Audley's Secret, The Trail of the Serpent, The Moonstone, and much much more. At first, Will wasn't that fond of A Tale of Two Cities because "Men going around getting their heads chopped off for love? Ridiculous.". Then, after another read, he loved the book. He felt the despair of Sydney Carton as he could only love a girl who had someone else in her heart. And so he sacrificed his life for her, to keep her happy. Will also did something like that. He believed he was cursed, and everyone who loved him would die. So Will was cruel to the girl he loved to keep her alive and safe. Will is tactician as well as a fighter. He can predict and form strategies to accomplish his goals. A combination of good looks, smartness, and relentless humor? Perfect boyfriend. If only there really was a Will Herondale... 9/21/14 Ok, guys. This will be a diary day for me; bear with me. So, school started, and it's my last year at this school. I came a really long way and maintained a 4.0 GPA for the whole time. Now that it's the last year, I really want the title of Valedictorian. But, along with that ambition comes pressure. I'm so nervous and scared to make a tiny mistake. My classmates all expect me to get that title. I'm scared, nervous, and completely fraught. It's gotten so bad that I feel gloomy most of the time. Don't worry; I'm not depressed. I just feel helpless, and I feel like the year is slowly dragging by. It's truly a precarious and volatile state I'm in. Things can change at any given time for the worst. For one of my classes, the grade you have depends solely on testing. And it's the most recent test that counts. For example, if you get a 100% on one test and a 60% on another, you have a 60%. And that's a good-bye to Valedictorian. Before this last year, my primary focus was to learn, do my best, and have fun. I really want to go back to that time where I was more carefree. If you guys have any advice, that'd be great! Meanwhile, I've found comfort in just focusing on the present. I try not to think about what tomorrow is going to be like, and I'm learning to appreciate the little things in life. I guess that's the bright side of the coin. Although, I can't wait until a break from school so I can get back to writing. But, in the meantime, I'll do my best to stay on top of everything. I have another bright note to leave off of: school's been helping me get plenty of sleep; there's no such thing as insomnia now! |
