Graduated RN school, landed a job in an urban ER, and it keeps me running. This means I see a lot of fucked-up, disturbing things. Other times, it can be really funny. That's life in a nutshell, huh?

For those who feel compelled to contact me to bitch or attempt to berate me because you don't agree with something I've written, don't waste your time. I won't be wasting mine over it. If you hate my work, there are thousands of other authors writing. Please go find one.

I've had experience (including personal) with some of the darker themes you'll see on occasion in my work. If I feel it belongs there, it goes in. Read someone else who writes about fluffy bunnies and shit if you offend easily. This is not to say that I don't empathize. However, on occasion, if I've had a really awful day, it may result in some dark & twisted FF just to get it out of my system.

Dramione's my favorite, and unless a particularly odd plot bunny gets me, I'll likely stick with that. I do love bouncing Harry and Draco off of each other.

A few words on various things: if you're looking for canon fic, you may wish to search elsewhere. Most if not all of my work will be non-canon. If I'd been happy with canon, I wouldn't be rewriting things to suit my own twisted desires. :)

I hate Ron. There. I said it. Mating Hermione with him is like putting together a dolphin and a sand flea. Just doesn't work. I'm always up for a good Dramione fic, especially when the writer doesn't take Draco's balls away. Even in love, I suspect he'd be a snarky bastard. Sometimes I'm not a Ginny fan, either. My two favorite Weasleys are (obviously) Fred & George. Who doesn't love them?

So many fics have been written with Narcissa & Lucius as horrible human beings. Can't say I won't write some like that, but I really dig the idea of humanizing them. Likewise with Snape. He's snotty and miserable, but Alan Rickman's portrayal was brilliant, and he has the sexiest voice I've ever heard, with Lucius (Jason Isaacs) a close second. Adore them both.

Re: a comment about being more descriptive and transitions - first, thank you for your input. I should warn you; you aren't likely to see me get super-flowery or way into detail. I figure since it's a fan fic site, readers are usually well-acquainted with the characters, unless it's an OC. I normally focus more on dialogue because it's more fun to write. Frankly, I find it distracting when someone goes into minute detail about the room, or every little thing Hermione's wearing. I purposely have been known to keep transitions on the brief side, especially if there's a surprise coming. Things that I write that don't concern something already established tend to be structured differently. If anyone has any other questions about that, feel free to PM me.

I've been having some trouble with the AFF site, so for the time being, all of my fics will be here.

On an unrelated note, can someone tell me how so many of you are finding my fic, "The Leaky Cauldron?" Visitors and views are much higher than what's hitting on my profile page, and that's not a new story. Curious.
