He threatens her life if she says anything. one night phil pulls a knife and bella traps him and runs away to Forks but phil is yelling saying he will find her. Edward is a player and a lifeguard. he has a diff girl each night. Alice happens upon Bella in a dressing room at the mall. They become friends. Alice brings Bella to the neighborhood pool, where she almost drowns until Edward saves her. When he sees Bella he doesnt want to fuck her he wants to hold her. He doesnt see her as smokin hot and bangable he sees her as beautiful and lovable. but of course edward wont say his feelings until 1 night on a boat ride gone bad, when they think there going to die. that there real feelings will come out.
