A slow burn Caryl fic. The story of their friendship. Daryl and Carol discover themselves through relating to each other in a post-apocalyptic world.

Drabbles. No rhyme, No reason.

This is an AU fic with Carol as a very wealthy socialite, with money to burn, but sometimes finding somebody to burn that money with can be difficult. Daryl is a high-end escort. He can make up to 10K a night sharing his company, and talents, with women who don't have time to fuss with romantic entanglements.

A completely different reaction to Rick informing Daryl of Carol's banishment that leads to a reunion that not only uncovers the truth about who really is responsible for the murders, but also ingites a long over due fiery moment that has been simmering just under the surface of these two for far too long.Daryl/Carol, (warning for explicit sexual content)

Takes place after Episode 4.8 "Too Far Gone" Caryl fic. * A bolt of recognition hit her and she choked back his name before it came to her lips, not daring to make a sound. He'd found her. He'd been looking for her and he'd found her … here. "Be careful what you wish for…" she thought as moved into action. She needed to reach him before they noticed.

The progression of Daryl and Carol's relationship through the seasons through their various "first" times.

The survivors take shelter in an old house for the night. Carol ends up in a room next to a very amorous couple and ends up with Dayrl as a roommate. Rated M for Caryl lovin'.

My take on their second reunion, once Carol is out of that hospital. Set S5, speculation.

Written for Nine Lives's "Secrets and Signs" challenge. Carol can see the signs of change among her family, and Daryl can read her secrets on her face like a book. Very Caryl.

The morning of her sweet sixteen found her multi-tasking, trying to unhook her bra and brush her teeth at the same time. She was fixing her hair, trying to make sense of the reddish-brown tangle of sleep-mussed curls and an ill-tempered cow-lick when she saw it.

Carol and Daryl navigate the minefield that is their early relationship in a series of snapshot chapters. Rating for adult themes and language.

When you lose someone it can be hard to take the pain that you feel when your heart has to break, the memories you keep are all in your mind as you search your soul for more to find. [One shot. NO ZA. AU.]

Season 3 PWP [Caryl] During the ZA. Carol is frustrated and has a long day. A mix up in schedules and sleepless night all conspire in a chain of events that lead her to Daryl.

As she helps Carl work through a first in this broken world, Carol discovers that there are still firsts to be found for her, too.

She'd walked into Terminus with pain crushing her heart. What she finds inside only makes it worse. Rated M for language, for the moment.

It's no secret the survivors of the apocalypse have lost loved ones, yet many are still ignorant to the fact that people grieve in different ways. As he listens to the others reminisce on their loved ones, even those whose names are unspeakable, Rick comes to understand that he may have misjudged a friend. Spoilers for season 4 finale. Caryl.

Finding a rhythm was easier said than done.

Directly following "The Grove" (S4E14). I hesitate to call this story "Caryl", but I suppose it could be perceived that way. My take on what happens when the two former confidantes meet again, after both losing so much. Carol's POV. Short, multi-chapter fic.

Utter fluffiness. Sort of inspired by an anonymous prompt that I only later realized I totally mis-read/misunderstood. Rated T for recreational drug use & language.

Sometimes, when Carol says a thing, Daryl decides it's something worth knowing. Continuation of the infamous 'bus scene.' Strong M Rating.

'"I ain't afraid of nothing," he bites out indignantly and then feels the urge to listen to it again to convince himself of the truth these words speak. "Nothing."' Daryl and Beth share a conversation about Carol. My intake of the promos for the back eight episodes of season 4, wishful thinking and all. Caryl. One shot.

It's deep in bitter winter, and Carol is having difficulty dealing with the cold. Rating is strictly for language.

This starts as an alternate version of the flirting-on-the-bus scene from 3x01. Daryl decides to get even. Rating for potty mouth and sexy adult themes.

Reunited at the prison, Daryl, Carol, and Merle search for their footing on unfamiliar ground. Inspired by a season three deleted scene with Caryl undertones throughout.

"She didn't hear anything. No voices from inside the prison, no walkers, no birds in the trees, not even the wind made a sound. Without speaking, they both turned, aimed their weapons and stood, shoulder to shoulder, watching the tree line. Something was coming." Caryl. Post S3 finale.

Set a few years after Daryl, having escaped the prison with baby Judith, reunites with Carol and makes a life for all three of them. It's Christmas and the season brings with it a wee bit of angst, a lot of fluffy feels and of course, a good helping of Caryl smut.

Carol is gone, and now Daryl knows about it.

How a little bath water changes everything.

Daryl is set to leave again with Michonne on their hunt for the Governor. One shot set two months after S3 "Welcome to the Tombs." Caryl fix!

Short one shot inspired by questions raised by the Season 4 premiere; my answer to what exactly is going on with Carol and Daryl. Very Caryl.

Carol is taken prisoner by the Governor and questioned about where the prison is. But she'll never give up her family. She'll die before she gives up the one she loves. Caryl

Ed, The Governor, Woodbury...it all becomes too much for Carol and she needs to get out. Find some open space to just breathe. What happens when Carol realises that the dangers of this world are stronger inside than they are out? And how does Daryl handle being the one she turns to for help?

Compost is something created from discarded scraps and dying matter, turning these things into a viable source of life and sustenance. Eventual Caryl, but also the story, in snapshots, of how two such viable scraps become life-sustaining. Story starts beginning of season 1 with new material and in-canon scenes...

Everyone was giving the barn a wide berth, even after the last graves had been dug and the lingering fumes from the fire had long since aired out into the quiet country air. It was more a feeling than anything else, a reminder that a line had been crossed. Perhaps even on both sides.

Carol couldn't let go. Not after everything. She'd search for him until she brought him home, or died trying.

Run. All they had done for the last few weeks was run from the Governor. Now they were exhausted and in desperate need of a place to hide for the night. Everyone at the prison knows Daryl and Carol are together, except for the couple themselves. Will tragedy finally help them admit how they feel and do something about it?

My effort for the USS CARYL one-shot competition.

Daryl tries to come to terms with the loss of his brother and, of course, it is a journey he strongly believes he should walk alone. But when she finds him there, next to her own grave, her kindness guides him out of the dark. Sometimes, in mourning, we see things in a different light. It doesn't have to be understood right away to be real.

Three people awake in the middle of the night. Post-S3 Carol/Daryl.

What if when Rick comes back with the news of Daryl's departure, Carol didn't want to stay with the group? What if she wants to look for Daryl? She'll make the choice that she wants. And she won't let anyone stand in her way. Caryl, Maryl

At the request of CheapTrixie - another TWD Caryl fic. A "missing moments" fic from S3E10 onward. Will be as in-canon as possible through the finale... Carol/Daryl rotating POV, but lots of other character development as well.

Carol has something to tell Daryl. But how will he take the news? Fear keeps her unsure. But it might just take some faith in the man she loves. Serious Caryl.

She savored the first few sips as she reacquainted herself with the warm, full bodied tang of Wild Turkey. Rolling the flavor on her tongue before swallowing as she let her body do the rest, closing her eyes in pleasure as the potent liquor trickled down her throat like molasses. …It really had been a long time.

In the middle of the night Judith can't sleep, and neither can Daryl. T for language. ONESHOT.

Carol watches over the group one cold night as the ghosts of her past keep her from sleeping. But she isn't the only one who's haunted. Caryl.

In the aftermath of the Woodbury invasion, Daryl deals with his loss. And Carol is there for him, keeping her promise. Caryl.

Daryl's scars have an effect on Carol when he comes back from Woodbury, exhausted, and with someone else. Someone that doesn't play well with others. Daryl/Carol/Merle.

Daryl and Carol... friendship, maybe more... This will probably be a little short and fluffy and I don't really know where I'm going with it so I plan to just have some fun.

The Governor is coming, the prison is in an uproar and Carol and Daryl have a decision to make. One-shot. Rated for language.

You'd think that with the end of the world, people would have stopped taking chances on long shots and maybes and just left him the hell alone. Because despite trying to keep the others at an arm's length, Rick, Glenn, Dale, Carol – the lot of them had only started to gravitate closer.

Carol finds bad memories concerning Christmas and Daryl resolves to undo the frown the holiday has set on her face. Caryl, Pre-S3, oneshot.

Carol held his warm hand awkwardly as they walked, her fingers shaking against his sweaty palm. They fled with who remained of their family and there at the end of the procession, they traveled hand in hand.

A series of Daryl/Carol moments set throughout the series, up through "Sick." Title comes from Longfellow's Evangeline.

The world was ending. That was how it looked. People were walking around, people who were already dead, and eating each other. So the world was ending.
