It is the eve of the second wizarding war and all Remus wants is a quiet smoke in the garden. He doesn't want to think, he doesn't want to talk, and above all, he doesn't want to remember. Enter Hermione.

"Imperials forces have entered the base! Imperial forces have entered—" The transmission cuts out and Jyn curses under her breath; the chill air is like fire in her lungs as she runs. She drags her blaster from its holster on her thigh but doesn't slow down as she rounds the next corner of Echo Base's frozen corridors. They're almost out a time.

When Jyn and Cassian notice that they seem to be getting an awful lot of attention from the other rebels lately, they check in with Bodhi to see what he knows about it. Utter fluff and proud of it.

Remus knew what he was supposed to do: Keep his distance. Reassure Susan that running from the Boggart was perfectly fine. They cling to each other like they did on Scarif, before Bodhi and his stolen ship. They speak in silence, have from the beginning; it shouldn't be this easy.
