Author has written 8 stories for Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

Hello! I'm a writer, apparently. Actually, during the day I write computer code. Which can be beautiful, if you are into that kind of thing. I am. But by night, I'm a writer. I used to mostly write narrative non-fiction, because it's easy to write stories about things that actually happened. And I have an original YA novel 3/4 done (who doesn't?) (UPDATE: now I have two, 3/4 done novels, I'm seeing a trend). But I frequently and easily become obsessed with TV shows and books, and lose the plot (literally, heh) of my novel(s).

I'm 'murican but I watch too much Aussie and Brit TV, which while it may not redeem me entirely, must surely indicate something about my taste? I'm very new to this fan fiction thing, so hopefully I'm not like...totally bad at it.

Update 2017-05-23: How does one apologize for leaving a story unfinished for three years? I don't know. I decided I'd better just write the whole darn thing, so there is no way to disappoint anyone. SO! We are on chapter 12/17, with a short epilogue to follow. Everything but the epilogue is written. Thank you for your support and patience!

If you're wondering what happened to me...I lost my job, got a new one, moved to Hawaii (really) and just...drifted away from this fandom. I really disliked the ending of season 3. When I finished it, I never re-watched a single episode of MFMM again. As I understood the characters, that was an ending, and you'd really have to stretch to make it anything else. Anyway, I felt like writing the other day, and I simply couldn't ignore this story anymore. So I tentatively rewatched Murder on the Ballarat Train...and somewhere between the first note of the theme music and Jack and Phryne standing on the train's roof, I was hooked again.

Perchance to Dream reviews
Jack Robinson always suspected he would die alone. When a straightforward case leads him into the tangled web of Melbourne's organized crime, it looks like he just might. Phryne Fisher could extricate him, if only she knew he needed rescuing. Romance, angst, friendship, and chiseled cheekbones. What could go wrong? It's got a dark start, but I'm a happy endings girl.
