What would happen if at the end of the Netherfield ball Mrs Bennet collapsed and died? What would the shock do to the family? And how would it change things for Jane and Elizabeth?

A second glance at Elizabeth, and Darcy felt an immediate pull. In a library one evening, his guard dropped, and he couldn't help himself. It was not a lady's imagination that led a rapid jump from admiration to matrimony skipping over love, but it was rather the heated actions of both. Deep feelings tend to get in the way when hidden and can undo the potential for happiness.

What if Mr. Darcy had already been 'at home' when Elizabeth and Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner pay an unexpected visit to Pemberley. A rather naughty version of what could have happened if Lizzie Bennet had spied Mr. Darcy in his bedchamber after just getting out of the bath.

Shamelessly conceived after reading CheshireSorrow's Liberties Taken (May I suggest you read it). Warning, it is a little risqué for 1813. Mr Darcy finds himself in a rather sticky situation during the Meryton Assembly. Not yet introduced to Miss Bennet, they find themselves compromised and made to marry. And so the fun begins. Darcy does not accompany Bingley to Netherfield. Therefore, he does not meet Elizabeth until his first trip to Rosings, resulting in some major changes to the way their relationship develops.
