When Tails has a nervous breakdown during a routine mission, Sonic worries about his best friend's state of mind. When a mysterious stalker targets his friends in pursuit of the Chaos Emeralds he has to put his doubts aside for Tails' sake, but as danger creeps ever closer, Sonic is faced with a terrible choice, one that could destroy his friendship with Tails forever.

He finds himself smitten with the owner of a tattoo parlour from across the street, Rouge finds out and tries to set them up together. However, due to Silver being trans, he fears that his crush won't be so open-minded and reject him, so he tries to stay at a distance and admire him from afar.

The phantom ruby isn't destroyed, broken but not gone. Infinite set out to recover the power to its full glory to get his vengeance. Or will obstacles stop him before it's too late?

Sonic believes the gods want him to fly. Amy realizes a tie between her tarot card reading and his dream. Over time something in the blue blur will change, getting him ready for his "gift." Minds will be manipulated and tragedy will strike. The Lightblur will awaken at the end.
