Thomas moves from New York to California after an incident that happened at his old school. When his new friends Newt and Chuck manage to convince him to try out for the track team, he ends up breaking the captain's record and is made the captain's, Minho's, rival. But after spending time with and getting to know one another, they develope feelings for one another not they know it.
