Poorly attempting to overcome several years of writer's block.

Last account had a tad too much poor-writing baggage, wished to create a new account.

May write something, one day.

These are a vague set of guidelines on information that I would appreciate for the SYOT's. While filling out this form is an option, any format is fine, as long as you provide the necessary information.

Any trait submitted in a character is liable to change. Any holes in your character will be filled by me. That's not a horrible innuendo, but, just my stance on taking liberties. If you want a guideline on how to avoid improperly written characters, this is an excellent source.

For the reason of avoiding revealing traits I may want to be hidden from the evidence, along with following the rules and guidelines of the site, please do not post this form in the reviews. I won't even consider your character, unless they're absolutely brilliant. And, if they are, I'll have to lambast your genius-ass in private messaging. You're free to submit more than one Tribute. In fact, submit as many as you want. But, no guarantee any of them will get in.

Now, without further ado, the form. If copy and pasting, please only copy and paste the parts of the form in italics.

Name: Please try to keep it somewhat sensible for the setting. Cartoonish, or Sue-ish, names just prevent the story gelling well. Using historical or mythological names is perfectly fine, if it makes sense with the character's family and home. Don't worry, every character is unique. You don't need to ride on a name.

Gender: Male, female. A degree of transgender is alright, but, I'll have to wiggle around with worldbuilding to explain it. Be aware that the LGBT and non-binary culture most likely is not sprouting wildly outside of the Capitol.

District: Remember, there are twelve Districts. Don't be afraid to use one out of the usual.

Personality: Whether it be a vague guideline, or an intricate write-up of the character's innermost thoughts and reactions, anything is fine. Preferably, I'd like some wiggle room, but who am I to stop your thoughts from prospering?

Appearance: Same goes on the personality end. But, please, remember. This is, by and large, a collection of poor, underfed citizens, with a few exceptions.

Notable Strengths: Any sort of positive trait your character may have, that you deem relevant. Skills, experiences, personality traits you wish to accentuate. Anything!

Notable Weaknesses: The flipside of the previous. Both are absolutely mandatory, and both must have some meat to them. The strengths and weaknesses to a character are what gives them depth. Whether it be physical flaws or mental flaws, make sure to include them.

History: This is purposely ill-defined. Include notable experiences, personal relationships, and the like, to your heart's content. It's rather unlikely that I'll deviate heavily from the history you provide, but, it still may happen. While not everyone is going to have an epic backstory, feel free to give your character some flavour.

So, thank you for submitting. Or, considering submitting. I look forward to going through the submissions. Send me a message if you have any questions or concerns.
