Lance couldn't wait for them to get Shiro back. None of them could fill the emptiness that he'd left, and it wouldn't get better until he was back. None of them had been prepared to find themselves in space fighting a war on their own, so they didn't always know how to deal with it too well. But Lance was trying his hardest.
