AU: Qrow and Winter are childhood friends and now attend Beacon Academy together! Qrow has always loved Winter, but doesn't know how to tell her-scared he's going to ruin their friendship. And Winter is head-over-heels in love with Taiyang anyways, so maybe it wasn't meant to be after all. AKA: In Which Qrow gets majorly friend-zoned... a lot.

A Beauty and the Beast AU centered around our favorite bees. However, this is not a hardline adaptation of either source material. Expect a lot of interesting twists and fun differences.

All they have in common at first is Mistral's Great Stone Coliseum.

Time passed since the fight with Torchwick and the White Fang. With less time fighting, the team members of RWBY are able to concentrate on each other, causing a few members to think twice about what their partners actually mean to themselves. In this world, soulmates can't hurt each other, intentionally or non-intentionally, so when Ruby is sent to assassinate Weiss, things don't go quite as planned. Now they have to work together to make sure that they can both get out of this situation alive, and maybe realize why the world decided that they were meant for each other. Yang grows desperate as time grows shorter and shorter. If she doesn't find out how to break this curse, they will all be doomed. Taking someone captive was never her plan, but when the famous author's daughter comes to take his place, Yang feels something she hasn't felt in years. Hope. And perhaps something else as well. Sometimes, our upbringing can stop us from finding that one thing that we desire the most: a fact Weiss knows all too well. As her heart and mind continuously clash, it's up to Yang to help her Mate weather the storm in Weiss' heart. Thankfully, sometimes just a little bit of love can go a long way.
