Hey there, I figured it was time I put something on my profile so here’s a bunch of general information about fics I read and their fandoms.

Writing

I have a few ideas in mind but I’m a phenomenally slow writer and like planning things out so you won’t be seeing anything for a while.

How I feel about pairings

General: I’m not a big fan of romance so I prefer fluffy friendship moments.

I distinctly prefer canon relationships so I’m really picky about how people sink the ships in favor of another one.

Yaoi: Since it’s a particularly large magnet for OOC and can make it really hard to dig up what you’re actually looking for, I’m not a big fan but will read it on occasion if I find the plot compelling enough.

Cloud/Sephiroth: Invariably makes me cringe, for a plethora of different reasons. That’s perfectly fine if that’s the whole point, provided I like the plot.

Cloud/Zack: I often find myself wanting to read a fic portraying their friendship but all I usually find is smut, which is often frustrating and probably doesn’t help my feelings about their romantic portrayal. I also find myself thinking that’d require Zack cheating on Aerith or something so that doesn't help either.

Cloud/Tifa: OTP

Zack/Aerith: Also OTP

Cloud/Aerith: I don’t really see them getting that close (romantically anyway) in the OG

How I feel about other things

OCs: They’re fine if used to add flavor to a story or fill a role there aren't any pre-existing characters for. I have reservations about the ones important enough to be mentioned in the summary though. To me, unnamed characters that exist or were mentioned at some point don’t count as OCs, simply really flexible minor characters.

Grammar: Everyone makes typos, some more than others. Leaving them uncorrected can be a real turnoff, especially when they’re in the summary or a name.

Mythological references: I love them, as long as they fit.
