Hi. I've been writing since I can remember, and have hopefully been getting better at it. My name is really irritating, because this idiot back in 5th grade kept calling me 'Kiana United'. (My name's pronounced 'Kee-on-a U-nye') I'm using my mom's E-mail adress, 'cause mine broke, and I hope she doesn't find out.
I'm a fan of Harry Potter, because it's well-written, and has wonderful characters; but I also enjoy creating origional stories.
Since I was about seven, I've been working on this fantasy story called 'City of Jade', which I hope to make into a movie someday. Unfourtunatly, all there is of my story is that I know the main character's name is Alan Thrain, that he might be a bit of a cynic, that he's a renegade, and that he gets caught up in a race to the 'fountain of life (or something like that)'.
When I do write 'real-life' stories, they tend to turn out rather humorous- like Dave Barry's work.
I have a brother, a cat named Oober, my brother's cat, Fat-Bum, a snake named Nagini (BEFORE Harry Potter books- named after my cousin), and, like so many of America's youth, devorced parents.
I love reading fan-fiction, because it offers a link to people like me. Most people I know hate reading, writing, or anything else I like. I am also a very avid procrastinator. Right now I am filling this out rather than doing my homework.
