When Felicity needs a date to her cousin's wedding, Oliver comes to her rescue. As the weekend progresses changes in their relationship develop. Began as another trope and turned into a beast of it's own. Rated M for later chapters.

Set in Rome. It's been twenty years and Damon fulfilled his promise, staying away to respect Elena's choice in Stefan. A chance encounter jeopardizes the carefully won peace he's made with the situation. Can Elena penetrate the wall he's built around his heart to keep from being hurt again?

Max pays a visit to Booth. This one/shot has been edited a touch and included as Chapter 4 in The Story in the Tale. My suggestion? Go read it there.

Elena-centric one shot. "We all don't trust you," Caroline informs her and Elena gives a sharp hey. "But this Damon Salvatore, Protector thing, is worse than I thought." Complete.
