Someone told me, "You need to write SOMETHING in your profile" and I wondered what on earth that would be.

I'm sorry but I'm terribly boring... however, I can tell you that I started out years ago reading Xena and Gabrielle fanfic, then uber versions of that and thinking ... "Huh, I wonder if I could write something like that." So, some time ago, I did...that's all still out there, I'm happy to say (well, for most of the stories I've written) Then I stopped for a bit and am now dipping my toes back in the writing pool.

I've found some fabulous stuff out there... I encourage you to write if you're at all interested in putting the time in, there's quite a following for those who do a good job. Either way, I really really encourage you to let the authors you read know that you appreciate their work and the time they've put into it.
