Required Character Rant: (For the PoT fandom, since that's pretty much all I write in.)

I admit--I'm a hardcore Seigaku fan. (I think Hyoutei is my second--because Atobe and Jiroh won me over, dammit--followed by Rikkaidai. I never really got that into the Rikkai as much as other fans of the bumblebees did--guess I'm just heartless, because I didn't find the Yukimura situation that heart-breaking (read enough yaoi--of the darker variety--and you can become desensitized to almost anything) though Kirihara, the little bastard, earned himself a spot of affection.

Summarized points:

--Out of all of the canon PoT girls (there's like, what, four in the middle school age group?) my favorite is Tomoka. I'd take a brash, forward fangirl over a stuttering, timid fangirl in a heartbeat. (An is alright, but there's something oddly...Sue-ish...about her. She's like the PoT version of Ginny Weasley. I really have no opinion on Tezuka's little Miyuki. XD)

--I'm a main protagonist-whore. Every series I have taken to, the main character inevitably ends up my favorite. (Except in Gundam Wing and Yu Yu Hakusho. Duo pwns Heero in every way, except in spandex-wearing and suicide attempts. And I have a thing for guys who like flowers. XD)

--Bashing/bastardization is lame. (I -heart- Kuwabara!) If you don't like a character, why even write them in?

Some Opinions On Certain Manga Worth Reading:

--Wild Adapter: I love Kazuya Minekura. 'Nuff said. :)

--Angel Densetsu: The art is average, but the story is incredibly entertaining and touching. Go read it now!

--Nabari no Ou: Wonderfully done ninja series! Stick with the manga, though; the anime leaves a lot to be desired.

--HunterxHunter: By the creater of Yu Yu Hakusho, who can only give the world more awesome. Gon is adorable, Leorio is hilarious, Kurapica is berserker-avenger-awesome (not Sasuke emo-avenger-like, thankgod), and Killua is like Hiei with a hair inverse. XD Check it out, yo.

--Silver Diamond: Beautiful art, beautiful story, beautiful everything. Shounen-ai hints, but recommended for everyone.

--Robber Bridegroom: About halfway done. Conclusions are tough~

--Within the Gilded Cage: Outlined about five chapters. Second one is nearly done.

--Surrender: (sequel to Firestorm) About 1/5 written. Now includes Hyoutei!

--Achromatic Colors: (working with Firey Chronicles) Haven't started newest chapter yet.

--Colors of Blood: (same as above) Waiting on plot outline for this one.

Edit as of 11/27/2011: All current fics are on halt. Due to the rising demand of my college workload, I do not have as much free time as I would like. I do plan to finish all of them, but as of right now they are on hiatus. Also, Firey Chronicles' two stories I adopted are in a similar state; you can PM her and she may send you the story outline if you are unsatisfied with the wait. Sorry, everyone~

--The Thin Line: As Seigaku crumbles right before their eyes, it's up to their rivals to figure out where the Seigaku Regulars went wrong that sent them spiraling toward dissolution. But it was hard for them to remember: cruelty isn't necessarily done out of hatred. (Pillar, Golden, Endurance, many others. Dark.)

--Surrender: "With Sanada holding his hand and blushing a vibrant red, Echizen tries to convince himself it could be much worse. Then Atobe catches sight of them, and he realizes now he's hit rock-bottom." Sequel to Firestorm. (Cap, Perfect, Endurance, Golden, Uke, Platinum, Dirty, Silver, others. Humor/crack oneshot.)

--In Memory: Jiroh can see ghosts, but it's a skill he has long accepted and gotten used to. When he stumbles upon the spirit of a boy with golden eyes, however, his attempts to help lead him onto the trail of the most merciless serial killers in Japan's history.

--Ichinen: Meiou High's tennis club only consisted of eight freshmen, but the unseeded team may be more than others give them credit for. Lead by the enigmatic Echizen Ryoma as buchou, they seem to share a host of ulterior motives - even as they take the tennis scene by storm. (no OCs! Features buchou!Ryoma, fukubuchou!Kachirou, manager!Dan, Regulars!Kintarou/Horio/Katsuo/Shiita)
