![]() Name: Not necessary. Age: As old as my tongue and a bit older than my teeth. Gender: You have a 50% chance of guessing it in one. Likes: Internet, reading (obviously or I wouldn't be on this site), and comedy. Dislikes: Arrogant, self important S.O.B.'s with giant sticks up their collective asses the size of Italy. And the sound a broom makes against concrete. I've been on this site for a while now, and not once have I posted a story. I first made an account because I didn't want to do any anonymous reviews, I understand that some authors hate that, especially when it's some jack ass who just flames for the sake of it that doesn't have the balls to take up their argument without the author being able to send him a message. Anyway I've been reading all these fics and favorited quite a few and I'm starting to wonder if I should give it a shot. A few story Ideas I have are listed below. A Trip Through Time series: This is an Idea i've had about different stories/animes/etc. with one difference to them, an extra character. Particularly a character found in the game Baten Kaitos Origins *SPOILERS FOR THE GAME AHEAD*. The game features a spirit that you are the 'voice' for, who turns out to be a mage/warrior that was powerful enough to be declared a Dark God from 1000 years ago, which I thought was pretty badass. Aparently you lived on as a spirit, so I had the idea of putting him in different worlds, or timelines in this case, that he awakens during his time as a sleeping spirit with no memory of the previous, or it could all be a possibly 'what if' he ended up in this timeline. It won't be under the crossover section because the only thing i'm including is the character you played in Baten Kaitos Origins who you have no idea how he acts, which indirectly makes him an oc, so it's more of a pseudo crossover. This series would consist of several stories based on the different worlds/timelines he 'wakes up' in. A few include Tales of Symphonia, Fire emblem, among others. Dragon Age: The Arch Mage: Follows the Origin story of the elven mage who rises to the ranks of a Grey Warden, may continue on to Awakening and beyond. If you haven't played the game yet I highly recommend it. Naruto: the Taijutsu Expert (title a work in progress): Naruto at the age of ten, meets one of Orochimaru's old pupils who was declared an S-rank missing nin for reasons unknown. He teaches Naruto his style every time he visits Konoha escaping the watchful eyes of the hokage and the council. Naruto graduates 1 year earlier than Canon with a different genin team and the Sadistic Anko Mitarashi as his sensei. How will this effect Naruto's growth? Or those around him? Naruto/Bleach crossover: Naruto is recruited by the shinigami to become one of the first of his kind, along side Yamamoto Genryuusei and becomes the first captain of squad 2 and one of the 4 Shinigami Sovereigns. A Hakuda expert who is revered as a Legend in Seiretei. The pairing would be Naruto/Yoruichi, any others are up for suggestion but keep in mind I plan to keep it mild. The Immortal Hermit: A Naruto/One Piece crossover, inspired by Kenchi618's Shinobi of the High Seas. Naruto achieves immortality as a sage/hermit, and travels outside the elemental nations some 50 years before Luffy starts off his adventures. You've heard of the world's strongest man and swordsmen, now meet the world's greatest martial artist! A member of the previous 4 yonkou (Gold D. Roger, Shiki the Golden Lion, Whitebeard Edward Newgate and Naruto the Hermit.) Naruto is about to show the One Piece world the difference between being the strongest, and being the best. Shinobi's Cross: Naruto/Bleach Crossover. Naruto fails to fulfill the most important promise of his life, now doomed to walk the earth as a 500+ immortal he finds a new purpose. "I shall take a new vow, from now on I walk a different path. For the honor of the Quincy..." I may put a poll up eventually to see which story the readers would like to see get started first or which one sounds more interesting, there is nothing on this site that I hate more than people with 50 projects with over half of them not even having 5 chapters under their belt, despite the story being good and hasn't been updated in 4+ months. I will try to avoid that but no promises. My main concern, and what has prevented me from posting a story, is that I'll turn into one of those fanfic authors that only write with reviews as their inspiration, though that is admittingly a deciding factor I don't want that to be the ONLY reason I write. I don't want to be that, I want to write these stories because I have all these ideas swimming around in my head with nothing to do with them. People come on to this site to read a story they enjoy not something half-assed. Plus I am one lazy bastard. I also notice that Readers tend to dislike oc's, which I don't mind too often but I can get where they are getting at. I will try to avoid this as much as possible but there are exceptions I'm willing to take into account. For example, In yugioh Reverse Arcadia they include an oc that the player uses throughout the game, and also in Fire emblem: The Blazing Sword the tactician in the game is 'controlled' by the player. Both are what we like to call 'silent protagonists', sure there is a lot of hand waving to whether or not characters like these are oc but atleast it's acknowledged handwaving that's making actual money. They are in actual franchizes instead of the usual oc that is made up by a fanfic author besides personality and appearance. Favorite sayings: -We always have our choices, you just don't like the options. - It isn't a 'retreat', we're making a 'strategic withdrawal' - When life gives you lemons... throw those s.o.b.'s back at life man! You don't like them! -Opinions are like testicles, doesn't matter how many you have or how big they are If I kick 'em hard enough. |
