When Dipper goes to Gravity Falls to stay with his Great Uncle for the summer, he meets the girl who works there in exchange for food and shelter. Mabel. Basically how all the episodes would go if they weren't related. (It's AU, so not Pinecest. I call it... SWEATERVEST! You know, 'cause Mabel wears sweaters and Dipper wears vests? Is that a dumb idea?) I don't own Gravity Falls.

It's a long way until next summer. Until then, Dipper and Mabel share their daily antics and life problems with their lifelong friends and attentive great-uncles through an endless string of e-mails. Distance makes the heart grow fonder after all, and there's no place Dipper and Mabel love more than Gravity Falls.

Summer is a time of adventure and mystery, especially for those in Gravity Falls. But the summer flu is not merciful, and the Pines twins are struck down with leaking noses and nauseous stomachs. But they don't have to suffer alone. Grunkle Stan intends to be by their side the whole time.

Mabel's desperate to pass her upcoming history exam and Dipper's promised to do anything to help. Unless it's the oldest twin cliché in the book. But in this disaster waiting to happen, there just might be some insight into each other's lives away from the comfort of their familiar bond that makes it all worthwhile.

Dipper has always been fascinated by Bigfoot, but his desire to prove it exists might come at a terrible cost when Mabel goes missing, leaving troubling evidence behind. Dipper is determined to find his sister but something dangerous lurks in Gravity Falls Forest, and it soon becomes apparent that no one is safe.

Being sick and tired of always being the serious one that no one listens to, Dipper decides to be like Mabel. While looking through book 3, Dipper finds something that will change his personality to match Her's. What will Mabel do about it? Will Mabel be happy about giving her 'Fun twin' reputation away? Who knows...Maybe it might be PERMANENT!
