"The Way To Greatness" is my very first piece of fan fiction. I decided to give it a try!

The story is set in an alternate Harry Potter universe where he was sorted into Slytherin rather then Gryffindor. As you can imagine, this will have an entirely different impact on who his friends and enemies are, as well as the overall plot. I have decided to set the story in Harry's second year rather then his first year, because I think it's the most interesting year for Harry (personality-wise anyway). The second book is the book where Harry has something of an identity crisis. He's been accused of being the heir of Slytherin and is doubting whether or not he should have been a Gryffindor. As you can imagine, Harry's personality is liable to take quite a different turn in this story of mine.
