Water Damage
Water damage is a not-so-straightforward problem that we face every day. There are shops that say, bring the phone in and we will clean it for you and charge a fee for it.Let’s be honest, a modern device has so many micro chips, resistors and capacitors inside that one can not 100% “repair” them at a decent price point. So we follow what Apple recommends: check for the damage to the main components like display, speaker etc and check to see if your water damage triggers are turned on. There are times the water may not have gone completely inside thanks to special adhesives that Apple uses when adhering the screen to the frame (which is another reason why you should never use a third-party screen). If the triggers are on, you may be eligible for a device replacement for a discounted price. Apple calls it an exchange price. If your intention is to get your iPhone working back to normal, then you should definitely come see us. We will be honest about what happened to your device and offer you the best solution.
