After an explosion in a mine they were visiting causes a radiation leak, Coran recovers from unconsciousness to find that he and Lance are trapped and alone, far away from the rest of the team. Coran himself is relatively unscathed, but Lance... Lance is changed. Lance is small.

"I should tell the others," he whispered to himself, like he did every morning since he got the ability, despite knowing that today would probably end the way other days did: with him not saying anything about this.
