Then I remembered there's an episode where Lincoln's revealed to be a big fan of a film entitled 'King of the Rings.' Doesn't take a genius to see that's a parody. So I wondered what those characters would be like, and I always enjoyed putting characters I like in unusual situations.

Peridot is given a chance of redemption by Yellow Diamond, but proving herself means helping destroy Earth and The Crystal Gems- The planet she has come to enjoy and the friends that love her. In anticipation for The Hobbit film, I took inspiration from Benedict's and Martin's subsequent appearances and wrote this piece, combining the best of both worlds and characters. The seemingly insignificant hobbit Johnbo Watgins ventures into the lair of a dragon by orders of the dwarven king only to discover a startling surprise by gaining a deductive-loving friend along the way.
