![]() Author has written 12 stories for Left 4 Dead, Pokémon, RuneScape, Tales of Vesperia, Fallout, SCP Foundation Mythos, Mythology, Kuroshitsuji, Code Geass, and Plants vs. Zombies. My computer is not doing well right now, and as such, I am unable to update or post stories due to being locked out of all typing programs. I am also sometimes incapable of replying to messages, as I can get locked out of the message function, or even the entire website altogether. Very sorry. At birth, we are alone. We stand with others, but they are like ghosts and strangers to us. To guide us through this mystery, we are given a lantern. We are abandoned in a forest of darkness and left with us is this single object. It seems pointless, and it likely is. Light alone cannot save you, nor can it sustain you. Many would grasp greedily for the lantern, clinging to its pitiful light like it is the source of life itself. The beam points the way and we follow it, we slink away from the darkness we cannot see. This is a fool's errand, though. Why do we avoid it? Humans fear the unknown, but what we often forget is that we were born that way. We were born unknown, we entered this world not knowing what it was, where it was, who it was. We knew not our parents, or what people even were. We knew not even ourselves. Yet we grew and evolved and by exploring the unknown we came to know it by heart. People claim to fear the unknown, but you would be a fool not to adore it. Remember, at one point everything you knew and loved was unknown, but now it it not. And why is that? Because you turned off your lantern, and sauntered into the darkness. Hi there, my name's Carissa. You can call me Rissa, though, as I much prefer that. I'm just a lonely soul trying to find my way in this big world. I'm shy, anxious, and easily distracted. However, I am also clever, creative, and intelligent on my bright days. I am just a soul who loves the macabre and the eerie alike, one whom adores magick and fantasy. I don't make much of myself, but I still put forth enough effort to show I'm trying. All I want is to be noticed - not by a large crowd, but by anyone at all. I am a person of many interests, including Black Butler, Code Geass, Pokemon, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Tales of Series, and Creepypasta. Minor interests incredibly vary, so feel free to ask and see what I'm into. You might find some cartoons, games, or books that I'm really into, but never mentioned. In the process of watching Death Note, so no spoilers if you will. Twenty years, female, and a little off my rocker in case it isn't clear. If you read anything dated 2015 or earlier, be aware of two things. One: If it's a chapter based story I will not be updating it any further due to lack of interest. Two: The writing style is not up to par with what I usually write and thus should be taken with a grain of salt. Yes, I take requests. All I ask is that you are patient with me in how long I take to write. Remember, writing takes a long time, and I have real life to worry about as well. |
