Lucien was right: he was an absolutely dreadful patient. Luckily, Jean is around to help take care of him.

He cut her off. "It's just that sometimes love isn't enough, is it?" Reaching out with a trembling hand, he brushed the back of his hand over her cheek in a gentle caress. "I'd never ask you to forsake your immortal soul–not for anyone and certainly not for me." He laughed, humorlessly. "I'm not worth it."

A body is discovered in the Ballarat cemetery. Its familiar face sets in motion a very personal mystery for Lucien. Set after the end of the show, with Lucien and Jean happily married. The 'happily' bit proves I don't own DBM.

an alternate ending to 1.10: Lucien doesn't let Jean walk out of his office.

coda to 2.10: "So, what did you wish for?" He gestured to the ravaged cake and burned candles. Jean blushed as she thought back to his gentle Bravo and wondered how she could ever explain her wish to him. She smiled coyly. "Lucien, you know if I tell you the wish won't come true."

Jean is in the garden with a glass of ice-cold lemonade and Lucien can't take the heat anymore.

Lucien can't fathom the mechanics of a particular murder. Jean uses this this opportunity to take advantage of her husband in a rather unorthodox matter...

Jean is sick, Lucien is taking care of her, and it's amazing what a fever can do to loosen the tongue.

Detective Alexandra Eames is a NYPD detective who has just been given the case of a lifetime. As the bodies pile up, she reaches out to the only one who can help, Dr. Robert Goren. Will he help or will his past keep him from catching a terrifying killer.

The power is out at the Blake residence and newlyweds Jean and Lucien find a way to pass the time.

With trembling fingers, Jean opened the box and gasped as a beautiful, gold chain was revealed to her. The links were intricately bound together and the chain was so slim, so shiny, so elegant. Jean put a hand to her mouth, "Oh, Lucien. It's beautiful."

Lucien is injured while on a case and it sends Jean into a tailspin. Especially since she still hasn't told him that she loves him, yet. (Partially inspired by the synopsis of an upcoming episode.)

Lucien decides he needs to get in better shape and asks his fiancee to help him.

When Lucien's investigation leads to a tragedy, Jean must help him solve the problem.

"She didn't like him when they first met. Not that it was her job to care either way, but regardless, she didn't like him or even respect him one little bit when he first returned home to Ballarat." Missing scene, post s4, canon-compliant. Fluffy introspection and angst.

"This was happening, and it was happening soon, and he was so thrilled about it that he went around with a smile like the sun, even in the midst of solving murders. He knew they were not being subtle, and frankly he didn't care. But he still felt it was the right thing that Alice found out from him..."

When Patrick gives Shelagh a rather obvious love-bite, he tries to find a way to justify him leaving his mark on her, and does so by explaining what this mark means, along with all her scars.

Lucien is away from home and calls his wife with a surprise for them both to cope with their separation.

Set directly after the episode 'Molten Steele', Laura reads the fictional Lord Marchmane's "Sexual Exploits of an English Nobleman" and asks the question 'just how did Mr. Steele come up with something so kinky? Determined to prove she can be just as wild, she decides to show him the famous fan dance from Acapulco. Add in some tequila and a watermelon and things get a bit…weird.

This is my first attempt at fanfic, or any fic for that matter. This story picks up immediately after Season 4, Episode 8 and addresses Jean's dilemma and how they might resume their normal lives.
