hi and welcome to my profile! for the majority who don't know me, i am animeflufflife! as a brief intro i'll say 5 things about me:

ABOUT ME:

1. i love anime but in a different way than i did as a kid. i think there's two sides to every fandom: the awesome, crazy ones who watch 24/7, make merch and tumblr accounts, etc. and then the older, equally awesome but less crazy fans who watch for characters and character development. needless to say, there are exceptions who may be both or neither but that's the gist and i think i used to fall in the former category but now i'm kind of a more chill but still passionate fan.

2. i love food and doggos and memes. pretty self-explanatory.

3. i love writing and reading! i've been writing since i was young but i can't say i'm incredibly goos at it. i'm extrwmely nit-picky and go all perfectionist when it comes to stories, which is why i tend to ditch stories in the first place. i just hate where the plot is going, how my character is acting, how poorly it's written. BUT IM TRYING TO IMPROVE!

4. i love music (just thought i'd put that out there)

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

i've been super duper inactive for a long time on fanfiction because this past year just has been really tough on me in various ways, but i'm back! during that time I've been on an anime break too, meaning i haven't watched or read anything new so i'm probably behind on anything that came out this past year, which makes me really sad... and a lot of my friends have been so preoccupied so no one's kept me updated poop

i'm really sorry about the failure of flight, the sequel to surrounded (by the way, thank you for all the love on surrounded it still warms my heart to see people favoriting and following it despite it being completed. i still remember all the hard work i put into it and i'm really happy with how it came out and how my writing has evolved because of that story). i was really unhappy with how flight was going and a lot was happening in my life at the time. i just couldn't get words and chapters i could be happy putting out and i just had to walk away from it. i wish i properly ended it but what's done is done. i'm leaving it there because i want to remember that i don't want the same thing to happen to my future fanfics.

WHAT'S COMING UP

i'm dabbling in this and that right now, but i do have a descendants fanfiction in the works, which is in a totally different ballpark of anime but i'm kinda obsessed with the movies HAHA. so if you're into that, go check it out! i'd super appreciate it :)
