Author has written 1 story for Pokémon. When my nerves crave calming, I light a cigarette. When my body taunts my mind for a challenge, I'll go for a run. When life seems dull, I listen to music. And when I need to satisfy my need for some nostalgic guilty pleasures.. ..I come, well, here. So here I am. I'm Domino Shelby. Thank the parents. All you will ever need to know about me is that I am a sixteen year-old excercise-addict with a paradoxal love of smoking and ice cream. (Hey, a balanced lifestyle can't be ALL healthy, now can it? That's what makes it balanced!! -) While I'm at it, I might as well say that I have always had a soft spot for all things Pokémon ever since my brother introduced me to its first episodes way back in the yesteryear of kindergarten. Brock and James were always my favourite characters, though I have always had a fascination with the adorable Ash (who doesn't?) and most of my favourite fics that I have read on this site revolve around the little boy. I work at a daycare, where I have earned the notoriety of being more obsessed with Pokémon than the kids. (It all started when I freaked out at a little girl who pronounced Magikarp like Maggie-carp! hehe..) I hold my title in high regard, nontheless. Although I never truly watched Pokémon, save the odd episode ever now and then, past the Johto saga, my all-time favourite Pokémon is Destiny Deoxys; although this is mainly because this movie takes place in LaRousse City, which was based off my hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia. I swear, some scenes are spitting images of the city (they recreated Science World!!), and it gets me excited beyond belief to think that Ash and co. could be running around down the street from me! What a high such a thought gets me on.. hehehe I'm such a freak! (I also secretly hoped that the city would install those moving sidewalks in time for the Olympics.. oh well! In due course, for sure!) OK, enough about someone with only one little story on this stie that makes me cringe every time I look at it. Maybe one day, I'll put aside some time to devote to writing a little more. Still, I write with spontaneity, not quality. But I do use SpellCheck. Enjoy. And the website shows when absolute boredom and procrastination gets the best of me. That and it's healthier than smoking. Hehe. |
