Most know the tragedy of Kaneki Ken and his hardships of becoming a ghoul. What if Kaneki never became a half ghoul, but rather if he and Hide had willing agreed to participate in the CCG's newest Quinx project? While cleaning up after the raid on the 11th ward, the CCG discovers several video tapes in a blood splattered room with a checkered floor. The Raid on Aogiri doesn't come quickly, and Kanki suffers far worse than ever before. Hide is walking on his last thread of hope to find his friend. The two meet again next to a dumpster, but something is terribly wrong.
