Grantaire is a History student, who spends most of his time hanging about on the sidelines of a friendship group, twatting in the JCR about and staring at things. One of the things he stares at has blonde hair and vaguely resembles an outspoken mop.

Grantaire begins his last year of University thinking that his second year Political Theory class will be a breeze. He doesn't anticipate being in class with the most perfect human being on the planet but that just makes his class that much more fun. Or, in which Enjolras and Grantaire debate constantly and slowly begin to realize that they cannot exist without the other.

Grantaire gets everything he ever wanted, and thanks to certain excesses, he can't remember what happened. Update: The events of the previous night, from Enjolras' perspective.
