Chell hasn't heard much from Aperture since she had escaped. But on the anniversary of it, a letter from there comes in, saying that Aperture needs her help, but what for? What does the AI have in store for her this time? Will she ever return back to the life she had constructed for herself?

She tries harder every day.

Chell is finally free, but as she discovers, it's almost as difficult to survive on the surface. What will she do when her need to recover her memories drives her to return to Aperture? It won't exactly be a warm welcome, and there will be a few bumps along the road. Chell and GLaDOS friendship, ChellDOS eventually, but it'll be realistic in development.
