This story is set directly after the ending of Sarah J. Mass' "A Court of Mist and Fury". Feyre has, again, sacrificed everything, and now has to deal with returning to the spring court and Tamlin. Meanwhile, Rhys, Mor and the rest of the court of dreams, struggle with Feyre's decision and the coming war.

Set towards the end of Queen of Shadows. The day before they set off for Terrasen, Aelin visits the palace library one last time. Unexpectedly, she encounters two familiar people prowling the bookshelves. Angst, angst and more angst. Rowaelin. Protective Fae female. Gratuitous sunset.

So this was a story inspired by a blog post by booksaremyescapetoparadise. I don't normally write fanfiction or anything really but I thought why not. Feyre is painting and she's got a little surprise for Rhysand :D
