This story is my best guess at how the Sansa/Sandor storyline will progress. The first chapter starts immediately after Arya leaves Sandor at the Trident. Told from the POV of Sansa/Alayne, Sandor, the Elder Brother, and the Mad Mouse.

They rode out together on the night the Blackwood burned. A little bird that flew above her loyal hound on his shadow horse. Through flowers and deserts, they will roam, searching for a safe haven. A lion, sick and twisted, plots from its iron chair while a mockingbird sends out wave after wave of hunters to bring them back. SanSan.

modern!AU. While completing his 12 Steps, Sandor receives a picture of a girl who looks familiar, a girl who could never meet his eye. Running from those who would have her as an accessory to murder, Sansa must completely change her identity when she leaves LA for rural Montana, unsure of who to trust, unsure if she is safe.
