![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Rise of the Guardians. Not much to say about me. I'm a twenty-something Mechatronic Engineering working the railway industry. Yeah, I'm a woman doing a man's work, don't freak out. I'm not English by any means (born and presently living in good old Italy), but I SO love everything that has to do with England: queens, suburbs, lovely countrysides, language, people, tea.. More about me: 1) I love cats; 2) I love Snape more than cats; 3) I love Hermione over all them, especially if she is the dominant one in the ship (projection of me?maybe); 4) I'm on the creative side (nevermind that I study engineering); 5) I play the piano (have a degree); 6) I swear like a sailor (proud of it); 7) Currently with a man; not sure how to feel about it - swing between moments of pure "yayyy" to moments of pure "this sucks"; Update 09/2015: after two years of intensive fan-fiction reading I decided to post my very first story (now a One-shot around 1.2K word, but I hope to make it a multi-chaptered long fic. If I can). Actually that's a lie. The one about "my very first story" I mean. During the years I often tried to write something (usually SS/HG ships, I love them), but in the end I found out that I wasn't able to write real three-dimensional characters: I always ended up with pages full of Mary-Sue-ish stuff, and I hated that. I began to ask myself why: I don't think of myself as stupid, but I could only write stupid characters. Why? Well, I thought hard and came to the following conclusion: I tried to imitate the beautiful personification some authors gave of my favourite HP characters, but I wasn't able to reach their level of angst and emotional depth. I was disappointed in me. Then I tried to write something that came up in my mind, without any "politically correct" filters, and I got Feral. I liked the result very much. So, in short: - my stories aren't for the light-hearted: there are graphical violence, disturbing themes, and hard realism. (does such a thing exists?) - my protagonists are female, dominant, strong (not only mentally), valiant (like in a charming-prince-situation), wild and brutally smart. They often are more experienced in matter of sex. Can also be violent, gory, terrifying, and fearsome. - my male characters are (inside): sweet, caring, troubled by uncertainity, VERY shy and usually inexperienced. Alwyas thin, skinny, waifish and so on. If that's not your cuppa, then don't read. But if in your heart of hearts you feel strongly towards wilderness, feminism, and overall coolness then please go ahead and read. And if you got the time, please review. Update 02/2017: I'm trying to let myself sail ships other than HG/SS (because I honestly think I read almost all of them) and came up with Everlark (HG), Jelsa (RotG/Frozen) and a couple of others. I'm also trying my hand at writing something fluff-y-ish, (The One-Thousand Portraits of Jack Frost) but if the cringe that follows me like a shadow when I write that is of some indication I suppose that the fluff is going to die a gory death quite soon (seriously, man). |
