Prologue only. Being prepared for publication. Darcy is inexperienced with women. He is having trouble dealing with his feelings for Miss Elizabeth Bennet. This is an interpretation of PnP, mostly written from FD's POV. There are a few surprises, but it largely fits within canon.

The following story has characters acting very OOC - if you don't like that then don't read ahead! What if Mr. Darcy had already been 'at home' when Elizabeth and Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner pay an unexpected visit to Pemberley. A rather naughty version of what could have happened if Lizzie Bennet had spied Mr. Darcy in his bedchamber after just getting out of the bath.

Marriage forces the Darcys to learn a thing or two more about pride and prejudices than they ever thought they needed to know.

Shamelessly conceived after reading CheshireSorrow's Liberties Taken (May I suggest you read it). Warning, it is a little risqué for 1813. Mr Darcy finds himself in a rather sticky situation during the Meryton Assembly. Not yet introduced to Miss Bennet, they find themselves compromised and made to marry. And so the fun begins. Dr. Bennet, Lady Catherine's personal physician, has brought his family to live in the shadow of Rosings park to benefit from the attentions of his patroness. Headstrong Elizabeth seems to thwart the great lady at every turn, but for the sake of Anne, Elizabeth is forgiven–until she refuses to turn her back on Mr. Darcy.

An alternate tale of a classic love story had the protagonists' characters and circumstances been a little different.

When Elizabeth and the Gardiners visit Pemberley a year early, a bond of friendship and sisterly love forms between Elizabeth and Georgiana. The repercussions of this meeting change completely the way Elizabeth and Darcy interact once they finally meet.

Mr. Darcy, for once, needed Bingley's guidance, and at the Meryton Assembly, Lizzy does certainly hear his harsh words, but also hears something else - something that changes her opinion almost immediately. Based on 2005 movie.

Ms. Austen-P&P "...she found herself suddenly addressed by Mr. Darcy who took her so much by surprise in his application for her hand that, without knowing what she did, she accepted him." Let's willfully misunderstand her words shall we? Let's see where it takes us.

When Elizabeth's parents died, she was forced to go to live with her estranged cousin Fitzwilliam Darcy and his sister in Pemberley. But, what did her fate plan for her and how their lives got tangled?
