The team are uneasy since Skye got shot and although she's recovering, tensions are running high, even if it is just supposed to be an intel op. Fitz and Simmons run into some trouble at the lab and deal with it in an...interesting way. As their feelings start to change for one another, they're not sure how to proceed. They are put in circumstances and situations they are not ready for. How will they react? Action and Adventure happens. Will also develop a bit of SkyeWard fluff in later chapters.

I decided to create a place to store drabbles, one shots and prompts that I have written for Tumblr and my own enjoyment. In which Jake texts Amy mostly stupid, occasionally funny, sometimes sweet, and never sober things in the middle of the night (and she always ends up smiling).

Fitz doesn't take losing a game of Jenga very lightly. Simmons knows there's something more to his behaviour and goes to talk with him. They end up having a bit of a heart to heart. It's Fitz's job to look after Simmons. It's why the work so well, they care for each other better than they could do themselves. So when Fitz finds Simmons in a supply room, desperately trying to get the blood of her friend off of her hands, he knows he has to be the one to help.

Fitz could read Simmons better than he could read himself and he knew that she was still struggling with guilt, doubt and fear. He was struggling with the same feelings. Spoilers from episode 1x13 T.R.A.C.K.S.
