Princess Zelda sacrificed everything 100 years ago so her people could live. Now that Ganon is defeated, Zelda faces more challenges than she had in the past: her return has thrown the kingdom's politics into question, her sealing powers are out of control, and Link- her appointed knight and the Hero of Hyrule- barely remembers her or the feelings they shared 100 years prior.

"To know Calamity Ganon's true form, one must know the story from an age long past." Here lies a forgotten tale from 10,000 years ago. Origins of the mechanical wonders, their four original pilots, the eternal bond between the princess and her hero, and the Gerudo man whose tragic destiny it was to become the creature he swore to protect the land from; these are the sins of Hyrule.

During Link and Zelda's first excursion together to the Spring of Courage, as Princess and appointed knight, Link is transformed into a beast befitting the Goddess Chosen and the Zonai symbol of Courage; a Dragon. Zelda must learn to appreciate him more for who he is rather than what he represents before the Calamity's return, while Link tries to balance his new form and do his job

In the aftermath of the Great Calamity, Link only remembered bits and pieces from before. Perhaps that was for the best. Zelda, however, remembered everything: memories that ached and stuck to her being like malice: oozing and burning. However, that malice still coats the air, a threat foreboding, not to be mistaken. Link just wants to graduate high school. With only a few months to go and an amazing girlfriend, his life is going pretty well. Sure, he's having weird dreams and aching pains in his hand, but that's probably nothing. Until he's told he has a destiny to fulfill with a goddess and goes from carefree senior to hero. After finding a peaceful lake during a long day, Link remembers a tender moment he had with the Princess.

A farmer with a troubled past had found a fallen hero on a riverside and makes the decision to take him in. With Ganondorf gathering power by the minute, there is no time to delay in his defeat however there is a time and place for everything as well as a lesson to learn. Link will have to do the hardest thing he has ever done. Wait until he is ready to defeat Ganondorf. [Link xOC]

Zelda, in that second, realized she wanted to remember that moment forever. A thought occurred to her, and she quickly took out the Sheikah Slate and snapped a photo from the loft. Link still didn't remember much from before the Great Calamity, but perhaps they could create new memories: memories of him, her, and their little Hateno home. Link lives a hand-to-mouth life in Hateno Village as a monster hunter and inventor. It's been hundreds of years since the last emergence of Ganon and Hyrule is now a world of industry and mechanisation, but there are stirrings in the Gerudo Highlands to the West. A malevolent force is making itself known and it's up to Link to fulfil his destiny as the next Hero of Hyrule.

A mother in her last moments under the Great Deku Tree gives her baby to a young Gerudo. Now raised as a prince of a struggling tribe, the young Link attempts to walk in his adoptive father's footsteps. Sent to the castle soon after tragedy strikes, Link learns about his world and the political upheaval just under the surface. He must decide if he will heed the princess's call.

After a prank gone wrong, the students at Hyrule University are evicted from their dorms. Zelda, with no other place to go, decides to live with 3 of the most gorgeous guys that attend the school. There's Shad, the charming intellectual. Pipit, the popular jock and overall heartthrob. And Link, the hard-working lone wolf that absolutely hates her guts. [ZeLink, AU].

The kingdom of Hyrule is devastated by the Calamity, much has to be done to restore the once peaceful kingdom of Hyrule. As progress is made, Link and Zelda begin to wonder about the Triforce and how it affects them personally and the kingdom, and about their own intentions towards each other. When a sudden civil war attack breaks out, Link is taken to a strange complex where he is meant to live out the rest of his life. In this complex, he learns that it is a prison for Auras, people with a gene that grants special superhuman abilities. When Link and Zelda both awoke in the Shrine of Resurrection, they had no idea what they were getting themselves into. In fact, they didn't know anything at all. Now, as they clumsily trudge through a strange yet familiar land, a dark, menacing force writhes in the ruins of a castle, gathering it's strength for one final strike that will grant it it's 100 year old revenge.

Zelda has been sent to Ordona to de-stress from the overwhelming princess life over the summer. However, she won't be alone. A handsome youth (and the future hero of Hyrule, though neither of them knows it yet) helps her get herself situated. Things happen, and, fifty years later, they have four children. How could she be the princess of a kingdom that didn't exist? There was pressure growing from all sides: expectations for her to rise up and rule over a kingdom of ashes. But she didn't want that.
