This will stay canon, and it is a story of love, hope, and rebuilding, told through Katniss and Peeta's POV. After a terrible accident that leaves him blind he thinks everything is lost not only his opportunity with Katniss but his will to live. Little did he know when something's meant to be life has its way of taking the most unexpected situations to lead you right where you belong.

Katniss Everdeen is a member of the popular band, District 12. What happens when the band, and her life, falls apart and Katniss is forced into the solo spotlight? With the help of a skilled songwriter, Peeta Mellark, can she be successful on her own or will she fall back into the shadow of her past? AU.

Katniss Everdeen has resided herself to live the remainder of her life in a miserable and depressed haze . After he is tossed from his home he sets off to the King's castle in hopes of finding employment and his love. Yet an entirely different fate awaits him; a throne and a princess. Although he may still get the girl of his dreams, because there was more to the huntress than he knew.

After suffering a serious injury at the hands of his mother, Peeta begins treatment with Mrs Everdeen. When Katniss is asked to help with his treatment things take an unexpected turn. AU set in District 12.

This is the truest story I've ever told. An Everlark fairy tale, based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Nightingale," with a bit of the character of a "three brothers" tale as well. AU oneshot; written for the THG Fairy Tale Fic Challenge.
