This story starts at the end of Harry's third year, and continues thru his seventh. There is action in many of the chapters, but I believe the overwhelming focus should be the main characters. I'm trying to write about a realistic and honest relationship between Harry and Hermione, that in turn, will change everything, from the Triwizard Tournament to the downfall of Voldemort.

War changes everyone: Harry resolves to face destiny and struggles to reconcile with Dumbledore's past, fully aware of the price he must pay for victory. Hermione walks through fire, determined to share in Harry's burden. Ron battles resurgent jealousy and soon discovers he may lose far more than he stood to gain. 3rd through 7th year story, generally canon but with plenty of AU-goodness. Harry struggles to survive his ever-violent relatives during the summer before his third year at Hogwarts. He dreams of Hogsmeade visits and stumbles through the murky waters of steadily growing and complex relationships. Darkness looms in the distance but will they see the darkness lurking from within?

A full novelisation and adaptation of the events of the game. It's a faithful re-telling of the events of the game, no new characters or plotlines, but I don't stick 100% to the events/script.
