Mysteries abound in Academy City, and once again Mikoto finds herself at the center of it all. This time though, she's determined not to simply stand by and let those she cares about suffer the consequences. Becoming strong enough to protect what is most important to her comes with its own set of complications though, and as usual, Mikoto hasn't really thought everything through.

Sometimes it can be hard to be honest with yourself. Of course, even then it's only worth so much when you can't be honest with others. But that's okay. Sometimes knowing what you want is almost as good as having it.
