![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Avatar: Last Airbender.
Welcome to my little dark corner where anything can happen and no one can stop me... ...maybe... possibly... Going to be frank, I've had a bunch of ideas in my head based upon my favorite shows/books/movies, and I wanted to give a shot in telling stories. Some short, some long, and hopefully those that make people smile more. Here are my thoughts on a few of my favorites... Harry Potter: Kind of a hit/miss relationship I have with both the books and the movies. Not to anyone's surprise, I like the books better than the movies. However, that still hasn't taken away from some of my enjoyment found in these fan-made stories. That goes with the pairings as well, as some are very well written and will be seen in my favorites. Here's the thing though; I don't mind when characters are flawed. Sometimes, though, the bashing can go too far. I hope not to do that with my stories. They'll usually very in length, some alternate romances that I want to give a shot, and some intense and heartbreaking situations. But nothing outright mature or scandalous. Avatar TLA & LOK: I love both of these shows. And the characters. And the writing. And the mythology. And the fights. And the comedy. And the tragedy... Okay, going off tangent. If (and big if) I post any stories, no exceptions, they are going to be one shots. No bashing of characters (except the baddies) and no alternative romances. These will be short and sweet, not too much thought to them. Fairy Tail: Yep, I arrived late to the fandom and the story, but I'm liking a lot of these characters. Jura, Gajeel, Levy, and Mirajane are basically my favorite characters, and while some of the arcs fall flat (coughcoughAlvarez) there are a damn bunch of memorable moments that keep me hooked. I have this idea for a crossover (inspired by Fergus Flamacron) between Harry Potter and Fairy Tail, but it's only a passing thought. That may change, and I kind of hope it does. Dragonball Z and Dragonball Super: Currently keeping up with DBS, having grown up with Toonami and DBZ when I was younger. Not really much to say about it, but DBZ is nothing short of amazing. DBS...has it's great moments. I won't admit sometimes that they can falter in comparison. No stories planned for this, and that's probably a good thing. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: Same with DBZ, I grew up with this show. It was my favorite of the CartoonNetwork shonen dubs, and I have very fond memories of it. Now, it still has that nostalgic feel, even though I've basically grown out of some of the kid-friendly moments. Likewise, no stories planned at the moment. Ideas for HP An Act of Seperation Harry makes a decision that night on the Third Task. He’s leaving the world behind to train himself for dark times. Merlin help those that cross the path of the good wizard turned deadly… (Will vary in length. Harry will age up to 21 before the Death Eaters see him again after the third task. So events will change from the timeline. Darker, less sympathizable Harry.) Series of Unusual Events The Black and Potter families are growing, thanks in part to the wives that happen to be sisters of each other (Sirius/Fleur, and Harry/Gabrielle. Ages are canon). (Not sure how long length will be. Will alternate between couples, both the years and the situations will collectively be oneshots.) Hogwart’s Lost Brass Bell A tragedy in the school, lost in time, has been reawakened. Once again, Harry finds himself in the middle of it. Too bad he’s also the reason it has happened in the first place… (Inspired by FNAF lore of the dead children, 49 children were killed in a schoolwide riot between the four houses. The teachers vowed to never reveal the information and removed all trace of memory. Now the spirits are awake, and while they leave the teachers alone, no student is safe, not even in their dormitories.) Ron’s Shame AU. The locket takes a different tactic to break Ron’s resolve to destroy it, and the results are not pretty. (My take on the infamous moment in the DH book. This, I think, would have spoken wonders about Ron’s character instead of his romance with Hermione. The issue is never about being second fiddle to someone “better than you”; it’s the issue that they were counting on you and you failed them. That’s what I wanted to capture here.) Walk a month in my shoes, Weasley Ron’s jealous of Harry’s fame now that Voldemort was finally killed after 5th year. Harry just wants some peace and quiet. Both made a wish upon a shooting star. Guess what happens… (A soul-swap story. I wanted to capture a kind of situation where both get the chance to understand what the other goes through without being too crazy like Ron fighting Voldemort.) Harry’s Enlightenment During the summer after fourth year, Harry comes across a way to try to bring balance within himself. This book helps turn the tide of everything, including Harry himself. (Based on the 7 chakras seen in real life and the Avatar franchise. Will probably just be a oneshot.) A Giant and his Friend Harry has had enough of the Triwizard nonsense and talks to the only person that could possibly understand: his first friend, Hagrid. Harry’s Despair Harry didn’t recover the way as expected after the Final Task. In fact, he’s losing an internal battle and no one wants to help. What path can he take to make things right again? (A P.T.S.D. story taking place at fifth year. I’m hoping to cover issues about psychological issues not brought into light, especially with regards to Snape. I also want to delve into death and suicide, and giving the ghosts of Hogwarts a much bigger part in the story. Will probably be a few chapters, nothing more.) Katie Bell and the Order of the Phoenix Katie has to deal with her fears now that Voldemort has returned. She seeks help from the one person who can help her: Harry Potter. (Will be a Harry/Katie story. This is based on Katie’s fear of Voldemort found on the official Wikia page, so I’m trying to set it up so not only is the fear believable, but also the tensions and romance between Harry and Katie. Will probably be up to about 20 chapters.) Planned Avatar stories Hope: An ATLA oneshot Remember the couple from The Serpant’s Pass? They’re back, in a third person perspective of the Day of Black Sun, and the news that the Avatar is alive. ATLA: Like a Boss Rated: K A parody of TheLonelyIsland’s “Like A Boss” mixed in with the Avatar universe. |
